We understand from a La Plata human rights activist
that detainees transferred from the now-closed clandestine
facility at Gstar.cia La Armoaia, near Arana in the La ?la-;a
ore:;, were transferred earlier this year to the La Plata 5tn,
3~h, and 9th Comisarias, La Carcel de la Magdalena,
La Dnijad Regional de La Plata, and to the Comisaria de
Kobos y iiurcoi. The same source reported his understanding
that a large number of desaparecidos were being held earlier
this year at the Armored Regiment base in Azul, about 4 00 km.

guarded by uni Termed gendarir.eria forces and not regular

clandestine prisoners are the infantry regiment base in
